cry - o - genics.........but the Thackeray duo !

Sorry friends for my long absence, sorry to my so called determined effort to make every week a new blog entry. But yes this long absence gave me numerous very haunted topics, which I can’t further resist myself to write upon.

For the first time in my academic career my one night stand before exam has failed. Yes , I am expecting exactly 2.5 marks in my “Cryogenic Engineering” paper that counts to only 8.33 % of the total. And what is going to fetch me those precious 2.5 marks are the questions those a 8th standard kid can answer if properly stressed. I was asked the boiling points of Hydrogen, Helium, Oxygen, Methane and Argon; each of them carrying 0.5 marks each. And fortunately with the mutual cooperation of the fellow examinees, I answered at least this precisely correct. But you know, I brought back the graph sheet which was attached with the question paper which I was expected to detach and then fix it with the answer sheet. Actually I found no reason in fixing a blank graph sheet.

In simple words...”I AM SCREWED” in a subject which unfortunately is taken by the Director of my institute who fortunately happens to be one of the best professors of Cryogenics in India. God knows the consequences , but right now I just wish not to become the dumbest student of this best professor. The quantisation of marks allows one to get even marks like 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 etc. So hoping for the best out of it.

The second stuff that got its place here on by blog hails from some good offices of Maharashtra. If you have been regular with the newspapers for the past few days, you must be aware of the recent statement of Shivsena –BJP alliance for the upcoming state elections.

“We Will Not Allow Outsiders In Mumbai.”

Earlier, Raj Thackeray used such controversial language and that too from the platform of MNS, Which got many revolts and rebukes from the people of BIHAR and UTTAR PRADESH. And now the same is being endorsed by Shivsena-BJP alliance. The Interesting part is that these two organisations are rivals in the field of this upcoming election in Maharashtra and even then if they are common at some point , it is this one. Disgusting ! Isn’t it ? ? Unfortunately BJP (read: Bhartiya Janata Party) which literally means ‘the party of Indian mass’ which was formulated to give a strong opposition to the then ruling Congress Party at centre ,is now endorsing this regionalism just to get some cheap political benefits. Unacceptable. Isn’t it ? ?

Let me ask you one seemingly irrelevant question here. “Have you watched the movie ‘Wake Up Sid’ ?” If not , just walk out and enjoy it and do one favour for me. Just count how many times ‘Mumbai’ has been referred as ‘Bombay’ in the movie. And you know because of this only Karan Johar was threatened by MNS (read: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) activists on the indications of their messiah, Raj Thackeray. Even screening of this movie was hampered in Mu
mbai. Theatres, screening this movie were attacked by the mob. And finally Mr. Johar had to apologise for this and he also promised to insert a grovelling disclaimer before the movie. One thing for sure here is that Mr. Johar did this not because he wanted to be a brave voice of dissent, Actually he felt it a better option than to go for an inconvenient enmity with Raj Thackeray in Mumbai.

Mr. Raj Thackeray (for MNS) and Mr. Uddhav Thackeray (for Shivsena) just answer my few questions on behalf of your outsiders:
1. Why you didn’t send those non Marathi NSG commandos out of Mumbai when they were fighting with the terrorists last year in Hotel Taj ?
2. Why you didn’t send your activists to fight with the terrorists then ? Do you attack only poor Bihari taxi drivers ?
3. You come and act when people speak Hindi in your state . Why don’t you ban Bollywood , the Hindi – Film Industry , based in your Mumbai ?
4. Why you take stand only when there is peace and you arrange the condolence for the martyrs then ?
5. And Mr. Thackeray one last question there is something called ‘INDIAN’.
Are you one?

N.B:

1. The NSG chief is a Bengali. An Indian.
2. The Major who died in Taj was from Bangalore. An Indian.
3. The NSG commander who died in Nariman House was from U.P. An Indian.
4. And the population which suffered was of Mumbai. The _____________.
(MNS and SHIVSENA activitists ask your Messiah to come and fill this blank.)
